Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) Job Fields 

In the North Dakota Army National Guard our job titles are called Military Occupational Specialties (MOS).  For a list of available job skills in the North Dakota Army National Guard, click MOS Job Fields in the left column.

Receive a vocational education while earning a monthly salary in one of the many career fields the North Dakota Army National Guard has to offer.  The North Dakota Army National Guard will not only provide you with real-world training in more than 50 exciting careers but also instill in you the virtues of a quality work ethic and reliability.

Non-prior service members will attend a military specialty school to train in the job they selected upon joining the North Dakota Army National Guard. Prior service members selecting a different job skill will attend a school to reclassify.

You will continue to sharpen your job skills through training within your unit. The North Dakota Army National Guard provides you the opportunity to attend schools to further your knowledge in your occupation. Leadership schools will teach you management skills as you move up in rank.
