Transition Assistance Advisor Program
The Transition Assistance Advisor program provides a point of contact in every state and territory to offer direction and guidance to veterans in accessing their benefits. The TAA program is staffed by 55 contract positions and two federal technicians.
Your TAA has built strong partnerships and coalitions with the Department of Defense (TRICARE), Department of Labor (DOL-VETS), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), North Dakota Departments of Veterans Affairs (NDDVA), Veterans Service Organizations (AMVETS, DAV, VFW, American Legion), as well as with organizations within the North Dakota National Guard State Headquarters: Family Program Office, chaplains, licensed social workers, and Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).
Who We Serve
The TAA program is primarily designed to serve members of the National Guard and their families; however, we gladly provide services to members of all military components.
Where We Are
Most of the TAA's are located at their State National Guard Headquarters, but we will travel to ensure that you, your families, your leadership, and local, state, and federal agencies understand your benefits. We are available during mobilization, demobilization, reintegration, drill weekends, and wherever you need us to be.
