Emergency Relief Fund
The Emergency Relief Fund is a non-profit charitable organization whose purpose is to provide financial support in sudden and unforeseen emergency situations, such as natural disasters, accident, illness, fire or theft.
All North Dakota National Guard soldiers, airmen, and their dependents are eligible for assistance.
Based on fund availability, the Emergency Relief Fund Provides one grant annually per guard family. No repayment is necessary. Loans are not available.
To qualify for a grant, several documents must be provided. They include, but are not limited to, all income sources, itemized statement of monthly and other expenses, other assistance received, and records of public assistance. Documentation that all other avenues have also been exhausted is also required (i.e. Red Cross, Army Emergency Relief, or Air Force Aid Society).
To apply, contact your Family Assistance Advisor at any of the NDNG Family Assistance Centers (FAC's) or the Retention NCO at the ND Air National Guard in Fargo.
