Valley City Soldier Promoted to Sergeant in the Guard (4/4/2012)

Johnson 
Nathan Johnson was promoted to the rank of sergeant in the North Dakota Army National Guard on April 1, 2012. 

Johnson is a member of Fargo’s 188th Army Band. A native of Enderlin, N.D., Johnson plays tuba with the band and also helps set up and operate the band’s sound systems.  He has served in the Guard since 1997.

In civilian life, Johnson is a fifth grade teacher at Barnes County North School in Rogers, N.D. He is married to Nicole and they have two children, Brinklyn and Tucker.  They live in Valley City, N.D.  Johnson’s parents Warren and Nancy Ann live in Nome, N.D.
