Warrior Transition Course

Thinking about transferring into the North Dakota Army National Guard from another branch of service?  You’ll need to attend the Warrior Transition Course (WTC), a four-week course designed to train prior service Navy and Air Force personnel in Army tasks and drills.

Upon your arrival, you’ll be assigned to a platoon with at least three instructors who will serve as your teachers, mentors and role models.  You’ll learn the Army’s rank structure and military courtesies, and brush up on such core tasks as teamwork development, first aid and land navigation.  The goal is to introduce you to the Army’s way of working and to refresh the skills of former Soldiers.*

You’ll be well-versed in Army values, combat skills and protocol, and you'll also be fit to carry out your Soldier responsibilities.  You'll also learn more about the unique aspects of North Dakota Army National Guard service that make your re-enlistment a great decision.

Contact your North Dakota  Army National Guard Representative for more details on your individual situation.
