Aadland completes Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training

Bismarck, ND – Pvt. Anthony L. Aadland of Wilmot, S.D., has completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training for the North Dakota Army National Guard.
Aadland attended Basic Combat Training for 10 weeks at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo, and then continued on to Advanced Individual Training which consisted of 10 weeks of military occupational schooling also at Fort Leonard Wood, graduating December 15, 2011.
Prior to his training, Aadland was assigned to the Recruit Training Company in Fargo, N.D., which prepared him for his military training by learning basic combat and Soldier tasks. Since the completion of his training, Aadland has been assigned to the 191st Military Police Company in Fargo as Military Police (31B).
Aadland graduated from Tiospa Zina Tribal School in 2011. Aadland’s parents are Dale and Becky Aadland of Wilmot, S.D.
Aadland’s father Dale served in the South Dakota Army National Guard in 147th HHB in Watertown, S.D.
