Skabo completes Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training

Bismarck, ND – Pvt. 2 Brittany M. Skabo of Williston, N.D., has completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training for the North Dakota Army National Guard.
Skabo attended Basic Combat Training for 10 weeks at Fort Jackson, S.C., and then continued on to Advanced Individual Training which consisted of 13 weeks of military occupational schooling at Fort Lee, Va., graduating September 21, 2011.
Prior to her training, Skabo was assigned to the Recruit Training Company in Bismarck, N.D., which prepared her for her military training by learning basic combat and Soldier tasks. Since the completion of her training, Skabo has been assigned to Det 2 132nd QM Co. in Rugby as a Water Purification Specialist (92W).
Skabo’s parents are Val Ramsey and Terry Skabo of Williston, N.D. Skabo’s husband is stationed in Fort Bragg, N.C. with the 82nd CAB.
Skabo graduated from Williston High School in 2011.
