Lewis completes Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training

Bismarck, ND – Pvt. 1st Class Cord B. Lewis of Bismarck, N.D., has completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training for the North Dakota Army National Guard.
Lewis attended Basic Combat Training for 10 weeks at Fort Sill, Okla., and then continued on to Advanced Individual Training which consisted of 18 weeks of military occupational schooling at Fort Eustis, Va., graduating March 15, 2012.
Prior to his training, Lewis was assigned to the Recruit Training Company in Bismarck, N.D., which prepared him for his military training by learning basic combat and Soldier tasks. Since the completion of his training, Lewis has been assigned to 2-285 ASLT BN DET 2, AVN SPT CO in Bismarck as a UH-60 Helicopter Repairer (15T).
Lewis graduated from Home School in 2008. Lewis’ parents are Brian and Brenda Lewis of Bismarck, N.D.
