Longnecker completes Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training

Bismarck, ND – Pvt. 1st Class Dillon M. Longnecker of Kief, N.D., has completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training for the North Dakota Army National Guard.
Longnecker attended Basic Combat Training for 10 weeks at Fort Jackson, S.C., and then continued on to Advanced Individual Training which consisted of 14 weeks of military occupational schooling at Fort Lee, Va., graduating February 7, 2012.
Prior to his training, Longnecker was assigned to the Recruit Training Company in Bismarck, N.D., which prepared him for his military training by learning basic combat and Soldier tasks. Since the completion of his training, Longnecker has been assigned to 3662nd Maintenance Company in Devils Lake as a Power Generation Equipment Repairer (91D).
Longnecker graduated from Turtle-Lake Mercer High School in 2011. Longnecker’s mom is Shannon Dieferle of Kief, N.D.
Longnecker’s grandfather, Myron Dieferle is retired National Guard.
