Cozzens completes Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training

Bismarck, ND – Pvt. 1st Class Veronica A. Cozzens of Glen Ullin, N.D., has completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training for the North Dakota Army National Guard.
Cozzens attended Basic Combat Training for 10 weeks at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and then continued on to Advanced Individual Training which consisted of 17 weeks of military occupational schooling at Fort Gordon, Ga., graduating January 25, 2012.
Prior to her training, Cozzens was assigned to the Recruit Training Company in Bismarck, N.D., which prepared her for her military training by learning basic combat and Soldier tasks. Since the completion of her training, Cozzens has been assigned to 814th Medical Company in Bismarck as a Signal Support Systems Specialist (25U).
Cozzens graduated from Glen Ullin High School in 2011. Cozzens’ mom is Winona Kitzman of Glen Ullin, N.D. and she served in the United States Navy. Cozzens’ sister, Autumn Cozzens serves in the United States Navy.
Cozzens plans to attend Dickinson State University in the Fall.
